Jean Sutton Service Award

Jean Sutton Service Award Recipients:

The award is designed to honor exemplary service that is "Above and Beyond" the usual required of an active NPANA member, with continuous membership of five or more years.
•Any member of NPANA may recommend another member to receive the award.
•It will be the sole decision of the NPANA Board of Directors to accept or deny the service award.
•There will be no recommended frequency of granting the Jean Sutton Service Award.  Recipients will be appropriate for the meritorious service to NPANA.
•The award will be announced at the first general membership meeting following the granting of the award.
•The award consists of recognition for service to NPANA and ASPAN as "Above and Beyond", presentation of a personal plaque commemorating the award and the name engraved on a perpetual plaque to be displayed at NPANA functions.

Ruth Foster Award

Ruth Foster Award Recipients:

This award is given in honor of one of the founding members of NPANA.  It is designed to honor a commitment to continuing education and the specialty of peri-anesthesia nursing.  A member of NPANA is eligible after five years of continuous membership in NPANA.  Eligibility will be available again after five years from receiving the award. 
•The Secretary will place the names of all eligible members into contention.  The name will be randomly drawn by the President and Secretary at the Board of Directors' meeting and announced at the Fall Conference and published in Off the Cuff.  If not present at the Fall Conference, the Secretary will notify the recipient by letter.
•The award consists of one year paid dues for ASPAN membership.

Recruiter of the Year

Recruiter of the Year Recipients:

This award is given to the NPANA member who recruited the most new members for the calendar year as reported to NPANA from ASPAN.  In case of a tie there will be a random drawing of all eligible members.  The recipient of the award will be announced at the Fall NPANA Conference.  If not present at the Fall Conference, the Secretary will notify the recipient by letter
•The award consists of the name engraved on a perpetual plaque displayed at NPANA events and one year ASPAN dues reimbursement.
